Dragon's FireA Poem by Bobbi PendragonAll this, because of a grade? Yes.
There is a breath of dragon's fire lodged in my throat.
If I let it out, I fear there will be nothing left. The ashes will be the proof of my rage. With no one left to show but the great expanse of sky, Forever blue, and infinite, and infuriatingly unrelenting to my destruction. If I hold the fire, it leaks from my eyes, Burning a trail down my face and leaving ugly paths of fire See! My marred features? It falls from my face to my chest, It burns my clothes It burns my skin, It leaves my naked. My dragons fire is exposed, It consumes me, and in the end, The world burns anyway.
