Six long years...

"I've loved you six years..."

I've loved you forever

 

It may have been a surprize

but it was the best kind.

We climb the stairs to our room

feeling oddly wierd.

 

I don't know why we felt odd

we have shared a bed multiple times

but this is different.

Electricity is in the air.

 

My need for him has reached it's peek.

Six years...

We reach the door,

push it open slowly.

 

The sweet smell is what I notice

more intoxicating than any perfume.

I peer inside,

anxious to see from where it comes.

 

Rose petals...

everywhere...

My breath catches in my throat.

It's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

 

"I know... Cheesy."

No, perfect.

He pulls me close,

and moves me to the bed.

 

I feel self conscious.

"You're beautiful."

you pull me into extasy,

pull me into eternal bliss.

 

The only other thing that regesters?

The sweet smell of rose petals.
