Goodbye

Our time was short for that i am sorry,
I shouldn't have been in such a hurry.
Through a window i merely gazed,
At a beauty i was so amazed.

As time was flying by,
My mind told me i must simply try.
Panicked by the result,
My mind almost returned to default.

But then a light out of nowhere,
What i thought impossible began to appear.
The beauty thought out of reach,
Soon shown emotion surely to breach.

I hated my life it was so boring,
But then you came along so reassuring.
Like a powerful light,
Making life appear so bright.

All of a sudden the light grew dark,
I knew that we had lost our spark.
What was once all day conversation,
Turned to nothing like condemnation.

Through this tribulation,
I looked for salvation.
Only to find,
I ran out of time.

One last attempt,
I cant just quit.
The final message,
Pleading for passage.

I got my reply,
The color grey.
Which is now,
Signifying my life.

I loved you,
Goodbye

Heh, at least you got a reply back. The only reply I got when I tried to reconnect with someone was ice. My heart never dug its way out, and it never will. But it could be worse.

Getting attached to people is doing yoruself a disservice. They will leave, they will disappear. I should know. Someone told me they'd never leave. They've been gone for about seven years now. Oh well. Life goes on, with or without you. People are unreliable. Sad but true.

That's why I forego relationships. I have no time for people or their bullshit.

i cant stand the idea of being alone forever. im slowly lousing my mind at the idea that my time here will amount to nothing to anyone. i understand where you are coming from but at some point being alone will drive one to madness.

To be alone is far better than to be a divorce statistic. I'm used to being alone. A woman and kids would just be a financial hindrance and annoyance to me.
