I'd like to go to bed
If i could, and if it helped
I'd twine you up in thread!

Why are you in overdrive?
I did not put you there
You must have a mind of your own
For you and i dont share!

Allot of depression
A twist of regret
Youre away from the abuse
Cant you be happy yet?

Maybe i'll get to sleep
Before two or three
But as usual i highly doubt
My mind will be kind to me

I really liked this, I thought it sumarised what lots of people experience perfectly and simply! The rhyming is great, and I found it quite sweet, for some reason, thinking that the speaker is at that point where they are suseptable to their minds desires, not vice versa. Great poem, loved it!
