Family

She sits in the middle, hearing their laughters and arguments knows that no matter what those faces that she will never forget. Faces that are familiar, faces that she can trust, faces that can never put a mask on, those faces are that faces of her "family"

A strong word and very effective one, it is a fact that you get to born with yet a fact you can choose later. A word that will always be a sensitive topic to you no matter what it holds for you. If i ever get a chance to use a substitute to that word, I would choose the word "knot".

A knot comes from tying up either two edges of a string together or tying few strings together. If we looked at those strings tied together this what a family is. And this knot in the begining and is the fact that you were born with. A knot can be considered what you passed through with your family, even if it was full of hardships, this what ties all of you all together. You have only two chances to get away from this knot. Either is to untie it or to cut the knot off completely. Considering both ways there will be consequences, the first one, even if you could easily untie this knot the string would never be as straight as before, and this marks the parts in your life that will be affected. While the second choice cutting the knot, which means loosing that part of your lifetime. Both ways they did leave an effect in your life. And this shows how strong the meaning of a knot is.

Family is something you are born with, you don't get to choose it no matter whether it is good or bad, even if you were abandoned from the moment you were born. This will be a fact in your life and will affect you while growing up. The other fact you get to choose later is the second knot, which is the knot that you will do later. The second family is what completes your life, so don't choose it haphazardly and pick the right string you need for this knot.

As much as the first knot can hurt you or affect you, don't ever forget that they are still your family, learn from what you passed through and keep in mind that one day you will get the chance to do another knot and this time you will be the main string in this knot. The first one you may not choose it but the second one you have the capability to choose.

Family are people that are united together, that should be the backbone for each other, the should support, protect, care, give warmth, share, and stand together. Because if a family member fell it will affect the others. Like a ship with a caption and sailors, each sailor has a specific kind of job without that job, the ship will either drown or wouldn't reach its shore. And each ship has a caption that holds the crew together whether it's a father, or a mother, or even an elderly sibling.

A family is word that has a huge weight in the person's life. A weight that has responsibilities yet a weight that helps you grow up and makes you who you are now. A weight that can be a burden yet a weight that can calms your heart. A weight that as much as it weights, no one can ever live without. A life without a family, is a life with no soul.

If you ever started with a bad knot, don't ever forget that there is a knot that you start with and there is a knot that you end with. So you have a chance to end with a good knot. Make a family that makes you feel home, a home that you want to run to. A family that you put them before yourself, yourself that is not complete without them. Make that kind of FAMILY.
