Chapter Seven: Endless Miles Of EternityA Chapter by BluefireRing the bell of mortality, and cast away your fears.
The walls were machines. A tangle of metal shapes, some with light blue glowing cristal chained into their very core under intricate silver cages of all sizes.
At one end of the large dark room, a metal furnace rested on three legs that looked much like the feet of a bathtub. This furnace cast a glow of red light through six lines on the small rusted door at its front and in that glow sat a girl, happily sewing away at some sort of fabric and singing a soft silver tune. "Endless miles of eternity, Rain birdsong of blood and tears. Ring the bell of mortality, And cast away your fears. Oooh oooh oooh~" A door opened at the oposite end of the room and the furnace flared momentarily as if it had jumped in fright. The girl was illuminated for a moment by the light coming through the door. Just a moment. It was enough. Her eyes were missing. Black holes in her head were all that was left in her otherwise perfect face. Her ears were pointed as an elf's. She wore a black mourning dress, thigh high black and purple striped stockings, but no shoes. Her hair was abormally long, reaching down past her shoulder to her feet. It was the same color as the blue light in the cages. She wore a black headband with a red rose to keep it out of her face while sewing. And what she was sewing, was skin. "Are you finished mending it yet?" Said whoever had opened the door. The girl raised her head as if she could look up and see. She smiled and giggled happily. "Almost!" © 2014 BluefireAuthor's Note
