Green RainA Poem by Cindy
Green Rain
falls upon the concave world which holds with it mixed platforms of muck and pearls. Flow and fall on turbulent valleys of luscious splendor which echo laughter, remembered and sought due to Plush green foliage which falls on my face. I rub my face in abundant plants and fertile soil to feel the moisture and grainy texture of earth. Stand, swim, and rot in the swamplands as well because then can the flowers be touched. And the smell of life will embrace us and love us. The sun and the wind tell of truth and beauty which are not hard to feel in the middle of sewage swamps. Sewage swamps rot those things of this world, yet, foliage in the face breathes into us life. Foliage, green and full and wet and alive, awakens us and pulls us from our rotted shells. © 2014 Cindy |
