Steel MoonA Poem by Cindy
To rise and shine
under a full steel moon must be Heaven on Earth and be reason enough for a colypso dance on the edge of a cliff rock which overlooks an icy sea. We'll have a ball while frosty grass nips at our toes and we'll twirl through crisp wind with a cool smile and a sharp stare. I swing on a hinged fence of a stone wall and dream of teal marzipan and discount corrupt hands. Yet, the piercing sound lingers on the isolated front and iceberg blue dissonance imparts its remarks. But, I do not believe or follow. No, my mangy and loyal companions have taught me well. Elevational twists no longer exist. Although I've no characterisics of marketable taste, I no longer hold melancholy feelings of a temporary grace. Such agonizing strains have been replaced with calming peace. I'm inquisitive because there's no such thing as an ordinary scene of a blue horizon on a muted gray sky. © 2014 Cindy |
