Mind Blind

Mind Blind

A Poem by Jaci

Some people are mind blind
with bars over windows
of what should be eyes
Perceptions skewed
in the shadows
vertically dark
emotionally tied
to the preconceived notions
they embrace inside
no space for change
or alterations
they stand still in place
never knowing they're lost
in their own sightless creation
