Hint of Sea

Water clear
with a hint of sea
that seems
only I can see
in the current
slow and meandering
it cuts between
earth bound banks
ever flowing 
away from me
down the mountain
and far away
I see a wide sparkle
of ocean water
spreading far
calling to the stream
dancing around the trees

I hear the sound whispering
as it touches the rocks
it's in the wings of birds
as they gather
in their flocks
Yes, I see
the hint of sea
as the water
moves away from me.
