FrightenedA Poem by BlueberryKissesHe is alone tonight. Cold and frightened. This isn't right.
She has another bruise to hide tonight. Hurt and frightened. This isn't right.
He is forced to work tonight. Tired and frightened. This isn't right.
She has to steal to survive tonight. Hungry and frightened. This isn't right.
But tonight you are far from these. You are not alone or cold. You are not abused or hurt. You are not being forced to work or tired. You are not stealing or hungry.
This isn't right. That people are frightened. Every night.
