Pain of lifeA Poem by BlueberryKissesWho would of guessed, This warm feeling of rope burn, Gently soothes my neck, Soon to cause deadly pain, Is going to end everything.
Who would of realized, That the thin slither of steel, That glistens in the light, Will cause rivers of ruby, The copper scent in the air.
Who would of found out, The poison, Not designed for me, Fits into my system perfectly, Each bite, The taste of freedom.
You would of known, How to stop the pain, You would of helped, Blank canvas' of people, Stand and stare, You would of been the one blinking, Trying to hold back the tears. © 2011 BlueberryKissesAuthor's Note
