Mirrors lie

Mirrors lie

A Poem by BlueberryKisses

Why can't you see?

In every ones eyes you are not what you think you are,

Your reflection is cracked in that mirror,

You are much better than the person you recognise,

Staring,

With those sparkling blue eyes,

At yourself as you try,

Try and feel better about yourself.

Why?

Why should you feel better,

You have everything to be better about already,

Please open your beautiful eyes,

Turn around from that dirty mirror,

Give me a smile,

Make the whole world feel great,

Just because you are in it,

Being happy.

Leave your reflection behind,

He isn't the real you,

You are perfect.
