Reality

You can’t give it up can you?
You just can’t seem to accept that things are the way they are.
Newsflash: It is what it is, get over it.

You can sit there, wishing things were different, but that won’t change anything.
You’ll still be the same,
With the same problems,
The same conditions.
If the wishing helps you get away for a while, then great.
But you’ll still have to face reality eventually.
Might as well get over it.
