Unloveable

Unloveable

A Poem by Hunter Mullis

It would seem that,
My evaluations of myself were right.
No matter how hard I try,
How much I hope,
I’m destined to come up short.
Every single time.
It stings like a b***h,
It floats like a weight,
It makes me second guess everything.
I guess my fate is finally revealed.
It hurts to be unloveable.
More than any other.
