Invisible

Invisible

A Poem by Hunter Mullis

Children love superheros,
Always wishing they had powers.
I used to wish I could be invisible,
Not anymore.
I recently acquired the power i'd wished for,
so many years ago.
Sadly it's not what you'd usually think
I'm not invisible in front of everyone.
it's only in front of one,
The only one who I want to see me.
It seems that irony's set in.
