Cake!

Cake!

A Poem by Chris Lotus
"

A flirty, humorous poetic piece, metaphorically portrayed through sweet treats

"

This girl, she gives more love than I can take

Love to wake up every morning with her like pancakes

She's a very rare one, all bakers can't make

This one's heaven sent so I guess I'll call her Angel Cake

Or babycakes, because shes my baby, so nice and sweet

Or cupcake, because shes just right for me

Shes an all type cake, right flavor at the right time

Funnel cake at the fair, cheese cake at night time

Babygirl, you look so tasty

You never fail to amaze me

Youve got the sweetest kisses baby

I get a sugar rush of love, goin' crazy

Youre the only cake I want, the only one I adore

The other flavors are nasty and not as good as yours

Carrot Cake isnt sweet enough, thinking id get too flabby

Cant stand crab cakes because theyre just crabby

You're the best, my sweet one, the best all around cake

You're a special one, not just a plain pound cake

Warrant's "Cherry Pie" kinda influenced this piece. Unlike the song however, this isnt meant to be sexually metaphoric.

This is adorable!! I think any girl would like to receive something like this. Creative!

Oh, I'm not sure what you meant here though (2nd line last stanza) "The authors flavers" --> "The other flavors"?
