I Let It Hit MeA Poem by Blue KissesEmotional
I Let It Hit Me,
By Blue Kisses I let it hit me, take you away, pride myself in shame, clothe myself - walking with the lame. I let it hit me, the streets, the drugs, the mules - all in one hug. I let it hit me, take all this we are made of, maybe a little brittle matter, and the sun would be our Mad Hatter. I let it hit me, as it stood right besides me, I hadn't noticed how this angle was meant to hold this. It was meant to hold us together, but just like Eve, I let it hit me. The deceit, the lies, all that pain, we have feared for in vain. I let it hit me. © 2012 Blue KissesAuthor's Note
