LiesA Poem by Christian BonoanIt was the end of the day But the start of a new life Then I fell and your eyes stayed And our lips touched like a knife
My mouth is wet by your love And my life is worth each day You showed me the things above And all the worst things I say
I fly with you till the dawn And fall without you with me I cried and lied till the dawn Cotton candy is so free
As free as the lovers there Sorrow as the likes of me Sweet as the disturbing fair Above the sky so I see
Small talk everyday with this Little lies filled my days with you You lied and lied as I’m pissed Now I’m full with skies of blue
I’m sure there was fire in us Though I was never enough I lost the one I can trust But now I’ve just had enough © 2016 Christian BonoanReviews
