Serenity

Get back to nature.

The ocean humbles me.
Forests clear my head.
Mountains sing to me.
The river keeps my soul fed.
Nature brings me peace.
It speaks to all around.
All that's needed is to listen.
You'll hear its beautiful sound.

Your writing took me back when I was hiking and just observing the beauty of nature. There's just something about it that makes us calm and happy.

I wrote this when some in a Facebook group posted a question about places that make us feel at peace. My mind was taken to memories of places I've been that had calming effects on me. They all involve nature.
