AffectionA Story by shashaWhen she first set her eyes on him, she knew she felt something inside her heart.
The car stuck on the same place since a few minutes ago, waiting for the red light to go green, which took longer time than usual. The driver gave an apologetic smile to his boss's daughter, who returned the smile with an understanding face.
The girl then stared through the car window, where people passing without giving a glance on her. Her eyes twitched in amusement as she observed them, noticing how they interacted with each other. They look like they knew every person they met very well, greeting and talking like friends would do. Small stalls lined up beside the street, catching her interest. Food and stuffs arranged on wooden table with big tents opened above them. The seller sometime yelled to attract the customers and seem like the method work, seeing how fast the place became crowded. However, a kid, didn't bother with the change. He stood close behind a pole, drooling over something he eyed. She followed his eyes' direction and her heart soften. an old lady turned a stick inside a machine until the stick covered with soft, sweet cotton candy. It looks delicious and fluffy, no wonder the kid drooling over it. She gazed back at the boy. His face was so innocent she wanted to protect him. He has a big, almond shaped eyes which sparkling under the moonlight. His mouth jar apart and she could she saliva almost falling from it before he closed his mouth. Cute. She let out an audible giggle. A warm feeling grew in her heart. She never met the boy before. This was the first time she saw him and she already felt something. Her heartbeat was normal, so she sure it not love. It more like, a feeling you only get if you a big sister. A feeling that wanted to always wanted to protect your sibling no matter what. A feeling that exist when you have someone to care. And she likes the feeling.
