Here And ThereA Poem by Blu Maximoif you jump out of the ship and swam your way to me i am there on a boat casting nets to the water if you read a book on the train and tore a paper that you hate i am there whistling out the window if you sing an unpopular song in a bar and people applause you for your soul i am there drinking scotch, just feeling the energy and inhaling purple molecules prints of your existence. this ain't perfect- the life between the space of our bodies you will argue your way out to win the most irrelevant topics and curse me in the morning and nag nag nag nag and cry because you will think that i do not love you anymore there will be times that i will despise your hair and prefer to take a long walk by the bank alone i picture it- us fighting. us shouting. but i'll probably let you do the shouting i picture it and my stomach turns upside down but my heart reminds me that it's real. your skin against mine is real your simmering emotions damn they're real and i treasure them like my old childhood photographs and i'd rather hear you curse me than not hearing anything from you. once we had separate lives separate deserted roads and home and cars but i was there and you were here through some inflated portal where time and space busted like a bubble we were always at one place at the same f*****g time we weren't meant to see each other. feel each other. but we have been feeding our energies and the vibrations of our thoughts had been colliding in the air. you see, your personality was tailored to mine your flaws are made for me your hunger for knowledge is mine to feed your anguish for the world is mine to kiss in silence and i am here and there we are here and there in London and the life hereafter. © 2017 Blu MaximoReviews
