Society's Watching Me

Society's Watching Me

A Poem by Blossom
"

I wrote this over a year ago

"
Society’s eyes staring me down
Watching me hold my girlfriend’s hand
Making the people around me frown
Acting like we are a wasteland
Society making me fear
Watching me cower in the closet
Making sure others know I’m queer
Society makes me question if I should feel ashamed
And watches me pretend to fall for a guy
It’s like no matter what I am always shamed
Society makes me want to die

Society will always have a problem, no matter what. So awesome of you to share this, it's really well written.
