Sound Asleep

So here you are

Lying in my arms

Your body so perfect yet so small

Delicate little fingers and toes

Your big brown or green eyes look up at me

Sometimes I will come across and see a smile

You know that you are safe

Cuddling more into my arms

Sound asleep.....
