New Life

The darkness surrounds me with comfort
Telling me it's okay to be this way
It's okay to kill the enemy
To suck the blood before you dehydrate and die
Everyday I go out and walk about
Learning something new in my world
A simple touch to someone and I absorb their energy
Making them weak and having total control
I kinda like my living, but then there's a point where you do not want to listen
The world I once knew seems so different
Damn mortals, so close-minded!
In years to come, I hope to find a mate
My black heart now beats for the full moon in the velvet sky
