Where I belong...

As a speckle of rain fell down

Upon a horizon with the setting sun

A glimpse of hope filled the air

As I looked back at my life

Then looking forward

What is to come? What is left for me to live on?

More drops kept falling

Not yet cloudy, but soon it will be

Clean air suddenly fills my lungs

And I could finally breathe

It's been awhile since that happened

The sun grew brighter

More of it's color expands it's wing

It is so peaceful, and warming

My soul gives out to this nature

As I know now,

Where I belong.

i think more effect oculd be gained from saying something like "as i looked back through my life" - i think that one simple word change would give a lot more depth, and purpose.

i'm pleased you've found a place to be.
