Vahalla's Birthday

Vahalla's Birthday

A Poem by Lady of the Ring

Broken hearted

Her life barely started

Taken before she was needed

Caution was too late to be heeded

Around her neck the cord was wrapped

Seconds later, her lungs collapsed

Daddy cried and Mamma passed out

For doctors there never was a doubt

The baby passed right as she entered

Through the gates waits something better

Daddy stayed until Mamma woke

Doctor came in and briefly spoke

They needed to pick a name today

In everyone's heart she will stay

She's not a Brittney, Courtney, Ashley, or Nala

She is their sweet Vahalla*

*Vahalla - 1.) The great hall in the Norse mythology where the souls of heroes slain in battle are recieved  2.) A place of honor, glory, or happiness; Heaven

wowwww i cant imagine how you could built it this way! you use words like builder uses bricks and you form your poem as you like as this builder forms his walls. not only you have done that but you have also drawn on those walls the nicest graffetti that can be ever drawn so you are an artist to, as well as the words picking and the expressions used by you as a poet
