Time Marches On

Time Marches On

A Poem by Lady of the Ring

Seasons have come and gone

But I remain the same

Time passes slowly on

I'm left to play the game

Flowers bloom and die

And snow begins to fall

Every night I cry with the pressures of it all

People say that time heals

Even the deepest of pain

Mine is still there to feel

More severely in the rain

I become breathless

When I hear your name

My future is full of stress

Whose goal is just to maim

I refuse to give in

I'll fight until the end

My heart will win

I won't pretend,

As Time marches on
