FallingA Poem by Lady of the RingI’ve found myself falling Can’t help but worrying That it’s happening Too quickly How could I not see Myself as I begin to fall Not sure I like it at all My heart says one thing My head says another. I’ve found myself falling I feel like I’m drowning In emotions that I may be dreaming I don’t want to wake Can’t take the pain for sanity’s sake The unfamiliar traps me Keeps me from what I need to see Listening to my heart say one thing And my head say another.
I’m falling for him I’m right on the rim Of loving without a care I can’t see straight without him there I’m losing the battle in my heart While my head says this is just a start I can’t help but feel Love because he has helped me to heal My heart, only to steal it from me But I’ve fallen gladly. © 2012 Lady of the RingReviews
