This is the poem that I'm gonna name my book after.

These poems are from the heart

Of a broken teen

So she can restart

Her dreams. 

 

Lost in her own head

Listening, but not

She lays awake in bed

Lost in thought.

 

Thrown away without a second glance

Tossed from her home

Needing a second chance

to not be alone. 

 

Searching for someone who cares

To help her forgive herself

To pull her from the world where

She has her emotions on a shelf. 

 

She finally found an outlet
