Cry

Cry

A Poem by Thief Lord Alex

I thought I was strong

But I learned tonight

That I guess I was wrong

I couldn't win this fight

I don't know why

But when you left tonight

I started to cry

Once you were out of sight

You were gone or so I thought

But I was wrong about that too

I thought you heard my distress

But you didn't have a clue

But when you shut my door

When I was left alone

The tears began to pour

and I began to moan

I didn't think it was this severe

That it could make me weep

But I'm glad that you didn't hear

Even though now I can't sleep

My eyes burns a bright red

From all the tears I've shed

And I bid thee Good Night

Until the dawn's waking light
