SilentlyA Poem by Thief Lord Alex
Quietly she collapses, Sobbing gently into her pillow In muted frustration. The world around her, So cold and lifeless, Forcing her to think of the boy She's not allowed to have. Faster her tears flow, An endless waterfall of woe. Her cries softening, When her tears exhausted, As she succumbs to sleep Letting it wrap her in blessed silence. © 2008 Thief Lord AlexAuthor's Note
