Flying

Flying

A Poem by Thief Lord Alex
"

Written for English class

"

The wind under the feathers on my wings

Flying high aloft on the chilling breeze

Wind as my music, to my heart it sings

Freeing this feeling way above the trees

Free to fly to where ever I may please

Hissing winds offer no guidance to me

So on I fly, over the land and seas

High in the sky where I am free! So free!

Away from my problems I can just be

I fly from when the morning sky alights

Away from my faults can you not see?

I soar above the clouds until the night

Under my peregrine wings the wind blows

Where I am from, where I go, no one knows.
