Valentine's DayA Poem by Thief Lord AlexSpeak your mind before you let it go.I remember So long ago Remembering things Only I know A time once You called me sweet And on Valentine's Day We were suppposed to meet But in the courtyard On that day I saw you And I couldn't stay You were with her That B***h that I hate You knew I did As I would constantly state I stayed long enough To look you in the eye And though it hurt I would not cry You stabbed my heart And I stabbed back I hurt you more As my vision faded to black When I woke up My body so in pain And you were beside me Kissing my hand again and again I could feel my hand wet From your salty tears And you thought me asleep As you poured out fake fears It would have broken my heart Except for one thing I knew for a fact These were lies you would sing To prove that point That B***h walked in And I have to remind you That cheating is a sin Yet there she stood Thinking me dead She celebrated And asked you to bed As you walked out I sat up and glared You looked back And were instantly scared You mouthed an apology That I knew wasn't true And as I sighed I realized I hate you So go on Love that B***h I know she loves you But that's cause you're rich Oh well, your problem Not mine I'll find a man who loves me At some point in time Perhaps not On Valentine's Day But I'm sure He'll be perfect in his own way. © 2008 Thief Lord AlexReviews
