Dawn of a New Year

Dawn of a New Year

A Poem by Thief Lord Alex
"

A new year's eve poem

"

New Year's

Ale, beer,

Wine and such

Poured out by the bottle

The scent of alcohol

Thick in the air

People staggering around

Wishing each other

"Happy New Year"

The clock counts down

Couples are together

Exchanging kisses

Greeting others

It's a new year

And they all start off

With the worst hangover

Of this year
