Cross of Chains

Cross of Chains

A Poem by Thief Lord Alex
"

Written about the chains I drew on my arm

"

Decorations
Chains crawling up my arm
Attached to my wrists
A heart on my sleeve
Where the chains connect
A cross hanging from one
A heart from another
Tied together
Ribbons hold them fast
Satin that barely moves
Warm against the cold metal
Not steel, or aluminum
But silver
An onyx and silver ring to match
That holds two more chains
That crawl done the back of my hand
Three more down the front
Just decorations

Author's Note

Thief Lord Alex
I was bored after midterms and drew a bunch of chains on my left arm in pen. After I was done I wrote this.
