Alone

Alone

A Poem by Thief Lord Alex
"

A girl sick of getting hurt by love

"

Sitting in the shadows
Crying all alone
Looking at the doll
To which her heart is sewn

No one remembers
No one really cares
And when someone notices
They only stop and stare

Shredded into pieces
Broken as if glass
Left on the ground
A spectacle for those who pass

Sitting in the shadows
Crying all alone
Looking at the doll
To which her heart is sewn

Piecing her heart together
Bit by little bit
Finally she stops
She so sick of it

She makes a vow
To never feel this pain
And in order to keep it
She’ll never love again

Sitting in the shadows
Waiting all alone
Cutting up the doll
To which her heart is sewn

had a nice rhythem going until 5 and 6 stanza. It was a nice interrupter at first, but it felt awkward to me. Just my thoughts. The last stanza and first stanza were very good.
