The Airbender

Based on the show Avatar: The Last Airbender. I ended up needing to write these to get the right feel of each 'power' because I'm writing a story with characters who can control the elements.

Only I can hear the secrets

Of the Breath of the Earth.

Only I can see the constant movement

Of a giant void of nothingness.

Though I may see small,

None exists without my existance.

 

Without I,

A flame can not breathe,

A flower can not grow,

Water would cease to be.

Without I,

All life would die.

 

I am what you can not see

I am the soft whisper in your

Ear on a summer's day,

I am the force that rips even

The largest tree

From its safe haven in the soil.

I am nothing and everything

I am the Airbender

This is really beautiful...I'm also a big A:TLA fan, and throughly enjoy to find poetry on the elements! Love how you encluded how air gives life to the other elements; they are all connected. ;)
