I pluck the velvet water from the harbour

I pluck the velvet water from the harbour

A Poem by BlondieFrost
"

Inspired by the view at night.

"

I pluck the velvet water from the harbour
And the sunlight from the sky
For I want to weave a speckled shirt
Submerged in sparkles
Soft to touch
I’ll put it on and wait for night
Set myself against the sky
Until I disappear
There’s nothing there
But shining stars
Amongst the sea
And the moon is whole
Squeezed through a button-hole
Secures the shirt around my neck.
I want to be a part of
every thing.
