Valentine's Day VillanelleA Poem by Blonde ComaYou are sweet, loving and kind, And after all these years you are still the same, So will you be mine? Let's stop pretending and get to the bottom line Because it seems as if you and me were meant to be, So will you be mine? Why don’t you drop a hint or get me a clue Because I don’t want to look back with any regret So let's just find out if this thing between us is true. I mean that's the least you can do Since you like me and I like you, Maybe our single pair can become two, I mean one, because your hands fit mine by design And in your arms is where I want to be. So will you be mine? I assure you that I'm not a land mine, I promise not to be the choice that blows up in your face, Because my intentions are perfectly benign So…will you be mine? © 2014 Blonde ComaAuthor's Note
