Everything's fine

Everything's fine

A Poem by Blonde Coma

A baby cries.
A man puts paternal arms around her
and whispers soothingly,
"Everything's fine".
A girl falls in the street and scraps her knee;
the man puts tough arms around her
and whispers soothingly,
"Everything's fine".
A girl looses her first love;
the man puts reassuring arms around her
and whispers soothingly,
"Everything's fine".
A girl looses her job;
her life filled with strife up to this point.
The man puts calming arms around her
 and whispers soothingly,
"Everything's fine".
The man falls ill,
on this bedside the girl puts daughterly arms around him
and whispers in a shaking voice,
"Everything's fine".
the girl cries like a baby
and whispers soothingly to herself,
"Everything's fine"
"Everything's fine"
"Everything's fine".
