Chapter 7 ~ The Suberban.

Sam stared at the van as it came down the drive. "Hey Jed, Do you recognize this car?" She asked as he walked up beside her.

He shook his head. "No."

She sat on the railing and flipped her legs over it and walked towards the car. The car came all the way down the drive and parked. She stopped and 2 men stepped out of the car. The one that stepped out of the driver's seat was a blonde man of medium height with a scar that ran over his eye and down his chin, the second man was a dark featured man of about the same height. The blonde man walked towards Sam, Jed was now approaching them.

"Hello, I'm Mr.Perkins." He offered his hand to Sam. She looked at the hand for a second debating whether or not to take it. She decided it couldn't hurt.

"Sam. Nice to..." Her sentence was cut off by the man grabbing her. He now had hold of her upper arm with something sharp she couldn't see tucked under her chin. Now she knew what fear felt like.

"Hey!" Jed called running towards them.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." The blonde man called. He looked at Sam who'd been frightened out of her wits, "Tell him sweetheart."

Sam gulped, "Jed he's holding a knife to my throat.

The other man came into view with a gun in his hand. Sam's breathing quickend.

"What do you want?" Jed asked, his voice was strained she could hear.

"Why don't you invite us in?" The man with the gun said.

Jed hesitated then said. "Don't hurt her."

The man with the gun tapped the car and three other men got out. The blonde man looked down at Sam. "Turn around slowly." Sam was about to nod but realized that was a bad idea.

Instead she simply said "Okay." Her voice shook more than she wanted it to. The man released her and she turned around slowly. The man took her upper arm and pulled her along, following Jed into the house. The four other men followed.

Once inside the house Jed looked at the man. "Now what?"

Sam looked at the blonde man who gripped her arm. "Call everyone in the house down. I want them all in this room now. Don't think about doing anything smart." He said pushing Sam a little. Sam's heart skipped a beat as she thought about Jessica. This could not be good for her baby.

Jed did as he was told and went to each room individually, he would knock on the door and say something, point to Sam, each person flipped out in turn and soon all of them stood in the room.

The man looked around and asked "Where's the dining room?"

"Let her go" Came Kyle's voice.

The man chuckled, "You know I would but then I'd have no leverage on any of you." His face darkened, "Where's the dining room?"

"Down the hall." Jed said pointing down a hallway.

"Good now two at a time walk down that hallway and go into the dining room." The man turned to his dark featured man and said "Take two of them to the dining room and tie them to chairs."

Eventually everyone but Sam, the blonde man, and one other man remained. They walked down the hallway and into the dining room. "You're being such a good girl." The blonde man said as the walked. Anger raised inside her gut, but she said nothing just clenched her fists and let her nails dig into her palms.

Soon everyone was in the dining room tied to a chair. The men guarded them, no one spoke.
