Travis and Jolleen search for each other all over town, before finding one another.

Chapter 4

Jolleen feels a rush of adrenaline like she hasn't felt in a long time. It has been a few months since she first noticed Travis and she wants to make something happen tonight. Jolleen can barely wait until she is in his presence. Jolleen is not a patient person, and tonight after a few drinks she feels even less so. Jolleen also has not been with a man in over a month and that needs to change -and change damn soon!

Travis can't take this waiting anymore. Sitting alone in his car with the lady he wants so badly supposedly just a hundred or so yards away is almost too much. He tries to imagine what she is doing right now. What is she wearing? A long, red nightgown? A nightshirt, and nothing else? I need to see her tonight. I want to talk to her. I don’t want to take the chance of missing out on talking to her tonight. This has been such a bad day, and I want to make something good happen. Travis knows that there is something going on between Jolleen and him at work and he now wants to see where this can lead. Travis imagines that seeing Jolleen tonight could possibly result in them ending up in bed together, or more heartbreak and embarrassment for him.

Jolleen approaches Travis' door quickly. She has Travis' wallet in her hand of course, but mostly she wants to find Travis at home alone. Jolleen wants something to happen with Travis, and if that tramp girlfriend of his comes home and see them together, then great! A second before Jolleen has the chance to ring the doorbell Andrea spots her from the living room window and opens the door hesitantly, “Can I help you?”

At the other end of town, Travis comes up with a plan. He knows that he wants to see where things can lead with Jolleen tonight. So, instead of simply going to her door empty handed, he decides to go the the gift shop that is inside the large grocery store in town and find something nice for her. After looking around for a few minutes there, he buys a dozen yellow long stem roses, a bottle of red wine, and some cheese and crackers.

Jolleen is really not prepared for this conversation with Andrea. She wants to say, “Yeah, is Travis here? I want to help. I would at least make him happy, something you're not doing...at least with HIM anyway!” But, instead Jolleen bites her tongue and simply asks if Travis is around. Andrea quietly and slowly says, “No”. Jolleen is annoyed, but nervously hands the wallet to Andrea. Andrea surprises Jolleen greatly by saying, “Who are you? Are you that girl Jolleen?”

Jolleen takes a step back and asks, “How do you know me? I am only bringing back Travis' wallet. He left it at Mulligans.” Andrea says evenly with a slight smile, “Yeah right! I know you. Travis talks in his sleep about you. He wants you.” Andrea is now smiling. “Why don't you just keep his wallet. I don't want him anymore.” Then with disgust in her manner, Andres concludes, “Just go back to the bar and you’ll probably hook up with him there!”

Travis leaves the store hoping that he isn't making a large assumption about his chances with Jolleen. “Who cares if buying this stuff is a bad idea. I just really need to see her tonight. I just hope that she is alone and not with some guy. I don't think she will be though.”

When Jolleen leaves the house without saying anything else she feels strange. It was anti-Climatic. It was as if Andrea is giving her permission. Permission to sleep with Travis! But she doesn’t care about that. That’s not going to deter Jolleen. Instead she thinks, “Where do I go from here? I have no idea of where he is at the moment.”

Travis is feeling proud of himself. He knows that Jolleen is going to like the flowers and the gifts, and that is a good thing, because Travis is probably not going to be able to restrain himself when he does see her. He wants her so bad. He just sits back in his truck and patiently waits for the sexy lady to come home. He is nervous, but excited.

Jolleen reluctantly decides that it is best to just drive home. She isn’t too interested in more girl talk tonight, so she drives slowly away from that b***h Andrea’s house, thinking that there must be some way of finding Travis tonight. “Where would he be?” On her way home, Jolleen knows that J.P. Mulligan’s bar will be off on the right hand side of the road. She takes a quick look in the parking lot to see if she sees Travis' truck.

A few minutes later, Travis is thrilled when he sees Jolleen's green Toyota Corolla off in the distance start to slow down on Hoboken Way. She pulls into her driveway apparently without seeing him and proceeds into her small house. Travis thinks that he had better just hang out outside for at least a few minutes before going to the door with his bag of presents. I dont want to rush it. She needs at least a few minutes to get situated before seeing me! I don’t want to overwhelm her.

Jolleen is pissed. This night has not turned out so well. And, I was dressed up for something that didn’t happen! She decides to get into something much less sexy and revealing and therefore comfortable. Her bathrobe. Next, she plops down on the couch with a mixed drink in her hand in front of the satellite. What a wasted night! Jolleen is just getting comfortable when there is a knock on the front door.

After wrapping on the door four times, Travis knows that he now only has seconds before he is totally committed to the situation. At least she was alone when she came home. Travis wants nothing more than to surprise Jolleen, and then to finally be able to pull her into his arms and let things happen naturally He knows there is risk in this situation. She may not be as interested as he thinks she will be, and that makes this more nerve wracking. After all, the two have thus far only conversed a few times at work and he still have never even asked her out yet. And, Travis worries, maybe she has a date coming over later.

Jolleen opens the door and smiles warmly. There is no discomfort between the two. They are just two people standing at a door greeting each other. She says, “Travis! Where have you been tonight? I have been looking for you. I found your wallet.” Both smile and relax.

Travis doesn't answer. He can’t. He isn't concerned about that. He just slowly walks inside and looks for a place to set down the bag of items that he has purchased for this lovely lady. “I have a few things for you.”

Jolleen then says quietly and slowly. “I have something for you too.” After shutting and locking the door Jolleen locks eyes with Travis and moves closer to him. She takes his hands into hers lovingly and slowly and erotically kisses each of his fingers.

Oh wow, amazing! I love the smooth way everything is going, and yes, when there is real attraction between 2 people, they sooner or later come together...It`s so nice that finally they meet and the end I loved much with kissing fingers. :)
