In my worldA Poem by Kat Williamsworkingin my world the devil wears white and jesus is black not that it really matters cause I ain’t praying to no one for nothing i ain’t giving or giving nothing but hollow stares of comprehension when told something ain’t right about me i’m the mean chick with issues but u knew that i’m f*****g my past while f*****g u but u knew that i’m spinning in cirles lying about the radius but u knew that said u could deal with that try to make me better than that i’m not a saint or a sinner cause to be one or the other you gotta believe in that
the sky is falling chicken little that i believe so i seek shelter in her arms and her arms and her arms nothing achieved but stretch marks from all the pulling and tugging her gives attempting to love me in my world of white and black and middle of the road grey that only I see stuck not in a rut because that would be to close to admitting the truth no i’m stuck living in my world made up and populated by others some invited others barging in daily hourly taking bits and pieces of my world to make theirs leaving nothing behind but remnants and trash and me in my world
