I read something

I read something

A Poem by Kat Williams

I read something today

From somebody

Came across a line

Or two

That moved me

It was deep and

Heartfelt

Coming thru in a symphony of color

On black and white lines

Of pain driven

Love given

Living

I wanted to meet this person

If only to ask

Why?

What happened?

Can I be your friend?

Words move me

Quickly

More quickly than

Physical manifestations

And representations of

Life, love and the pursuit of those things

Not going to say happiness cause that’s speculative

And mainly fiction derived by a writer in Hollywood

Hoping to sell his or her story to the money men who in turn

Peddle it to the masses of monkeys who like spoon fed flicks with their…

I digress

Those words told of everything while divulging nothing

Explaining my fascination

Inquisitive by nature

Because seeing is believing

Believing in the truth above all else

Words give that

Sometimes

Maybe
