Inspire Me

Inspire Me

A Poem by Kat Williams

Inspire me

Inspire me to great heights

Of something

S**t…

Make a sista think

About something

Cause right now

Right this f*****g minute

Ain’t s**t right about me or my life

Reaching for friends that ain’t there

Reaching for words that ain’t there

Reaching…reaching for me…I ain’t there

Trying though

Can’t u tell?

Acknowledging s**t ain’t real

Or is that right

Or is that who gives a f**k about right or real

Wrong even

So I’m sitting here

Pen in hand

Asking for inspiration

Maybe what I need is intervention

Not the program for junkies

Just a program for livers...living

One step out the door

Ten steps to the grave

Inspiration or death

choices

I felt that...touched once again. Great work Katt!

This would be flame as a spoken word piece It has a strong voice and attitude that it brings from the start. I wish it was longer though I felt you could've dug even further if you wanted to. Maybe I was looking for something that wasn't there. But nonetheless it was a good teaser.
