Promising Breeze

Promising Breeze

A Poem by Megan

She and her delicate self

Swore to the mountains, the seas

The rivers and the valleys

That she'd never steal their beauty

She made the world her own

She raced across plains

As if they were her own backyard

She promised dawn and dusk

That the last breath she takes

Will cross oceans and plains

As a warm summer breeze.

I agree with Shaquana. Seems to me that you are describing a goddess.

Very nicely penned. While reading this it made me think that there is probably a norse or greek goddess who would fit this poem well. :)
