Strange Euphoria

Strange Euphoria

A Poem by Megan

No one knew how

But she twirled over the horizon

And never looked back

She danced with the stars

Slept on the moon

Raced through the fog

And trickled back down to Earth with the rain

She became one with the universe

And no one questioned how

Perhaps her euphoria raised her to new heights

Or maybe it was all in her head

And no one, not even herself could tell the difference.

Really excellent, Megan. I like this so much.

To be lost in your own mind can be quite peaceful. Thanks for sharing :)

The imagery in this piece is wonderful and moving. It paints the picture of a girl truly in her own universe and that's a lady we'd all like to find. Thank you for sharing! It's wonderful. Can't wait to read more of your work!
