Coward

Coward

A Poem by Megan

He believed he stood taller than God

He had a puffed out chest

And hunched over shoulders

He believed he could make his foes crumble

He held his head high

Yet his hands still shook

He was a coward

Blinded by his fabled strength.

The world is overpopulated with cowards, you know. Sometimes, I'm like that, too. "Fabled strength"-I like that.
