Forgotten Past

Forgotten Past

A Poem by Megan

Glances of our past

Flash through as a reel of regrets

I long for what could've been

But the mess we made along the way

Made me release your grip

The remains of our past

Have finally faded to black

Eternally forgotten

Wherever they remain.

The last two lines tug my heartstrings. Youw write sad poems very well.

I love this. I imagined a serene image fading to black. Love the imagery and message here. Good job! :)
